Increasing rhipe’s operational excellence through Microsoft Power Platform

Since 2003, rhipe has been the leading cloud computing distributor and reseller in the Asia-Pacific region. With a goal to increase their presence in the Southeast Asia region, they operate with an emphasis on the necessity to continually innovate their range of cloud products for their existing partners and clients.

As cloud computing has continued to rapidly gain traction across industries, rhipe has constantly reinvented and extended their lengthy list of product offerings to keep up with demand. 2020 saw this demand skyrocket, with businesses reliance shifting online to digital selling amidst the pandemic.

In the spirit of continual improvement, rhipe sought to boost efficiency and decrease the complexity of their business operations. This was achieved through the utilisation of Microsoft Power Platform, which housed their sales management solution and provided the ability to analyse data quickly.

Though rhipe already operated on Microsoft Business solutions, the challenge lied in their marketing tool. Rhipe wanted the same details generated for every campaign; their marketing tool, which was embedded into their website, did not allow this option within their lead generation process. The Integration to Microsoft Dynamics 365 needed fine-tuning to distinguish the identification of new vs. existing leads. There was further opportunity to optimise on the time-consuming task for lead qualification.

Our approach

In order to continue enabling and accelerating cloud adoption, rhipe engaged Experience Digital. As a Microsoft Gold Partner, there was scope to leverage Microsoft Power Platform & Dynamic 365 capabilities to deliver a single-screen solution.

The design encompassed a canvas app that was embedded into rhipe’s environment. This provided the capability to integrate all business data into a single screen, enabling users to complete all lead-generating activities from one place. The end-to-end solution removed the need for unnecessary navigation, resulting in increased optimisation of time and business resources.

The outcome

The successful project provided rhipe with the ability to streamline their lead generation activities and processes, ultimately increasing their business’s operational efficiency. The improvement lies in embedding Microsoft Power Platform into Dynamics 365, providing the effective capability to analyse data and report on campaign performances.

This process automation provisioned numerous benefits for rhipe within their data capturing, which permeate through the entirety of the business. User adoption continues to increase and rhipe’s operate with confidence to scale to this rapid user demand.
