Strawman is Australia’s premier online investment club. Using exclusive research management and networking tools, it has a community of investors that collaborate to deliver independent, accountable and actionable sharemarket research and recommendations.

Experience Digital was initially introduced to Strawman to assist them with web system back-end issues. Strawman had multiple concerns, one of which was an underlying problem that was not allowing them to perform upgrades.

Our approach

Experience Digital was tasked with the development of the application and the launch of Strawman’s 3.0. version of the product.

The technical team undertook a detailed technical analyst of the existing system, scoped a new user experience (UX) and created new features involving a scorecard that would track trades in real-time and connect it to the ASX .

The outcome

Since Experience Digital’s, engagement with Strawman, the platform’s user experience has been greatly improved. Their product now provides real gain/loss value on what the person places on a stock or share.

Experience Digital also moved its infrastructure to an AWS cloud-based hosting arrangement offering multiple benefits – scalability, robustness, better value for money through flexibility and higher availability.
